The Pantera group is an example of how important it is to find your own vocalist. Details are online. I have many memories associated with this team. How in the 90s, we guys, being long-haired teenagers, carried bulky, Soviet tape recorders and turntables, with a bunch of homemade cords and recorded cassettes. All our youthful savings went to buying branded cassettes. And how in the evenings we wandered the streets with a Vesna tape recorder, listened to Pantera and Metallica, drank cheap wine, smoked a lot and made friends with girls in the entryways. With vocalist Philip Anselmo, the musicians released 5 albums. The 1992 album Vulgar Display Of Power was the first I heard from the musicians' work. Then there was the 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, also strong. And only in the late 90s did I hear their firstborn, Cowboys From Hell. These 3 albums are the coolest. The last 2 albums didn't really appeal to me. Hysteria and a sinker. But I know that many people like them and I included them in the collection too. The powerful energy of these guys is still going strong. All the albums are recorded well. I listened to the 2016 high-res remaster and didn't like the sound. They were tailored for modern low-quality audio systems. It seems that the vocals were raised competently, the volume was added, but they were overloaded with frequencies and the sound became dirty. Japanese CDs sing cleaner. I made a collection of them. The integrity of the albums was completely preserved. Enjoy listening to everyone and good luck. May the energy of music be with us!
